As a child, Miss Wollschlager ran away and joined the Circus World Museum of Ringling Bros., where she stared in the aerial ballet and was cut in half in the magic show! Before this opportunity, she spent most of her time swinging on her swing in the back yard, climbing on trees and hanging upside down, or rolling down grassy hills. The need to experience movement drove her to great heights and many journeys.

She received a BFA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, is 200 hr. Hatha Yoga Cert., AerialMukti Cert. and is the recipient of the 2018 Jerome Foundation grant from Elizabeth Streb for the GO! showcase in June.

She currently teaches at The Muse, JivaMukti Yoga N.J. and other venues in Brooklyn. She specializes in the silks, hammock, harness, rope, lyra, and harnessed based dances like bungee dance. She has taught everything from formal technique classes in circus schools to workshops at Universities for engineering students in NYC.

She has performed for names such as Cirque Du Soliel's 25th Anniversary, Noemie Lafrance, Grounded Aerial, Madison Square Garden, Cirque Le Soir and many more.  Her own choreography for dance or circus performances has spanned the formal theater, music videos, or site specific venues like sculpture parks, NYC's streets and Italian Castle abbeys.

Sarah would like to remind all her students to be strong and have a heart full of love and compassion. Live your life to liberate those around you by following your path of bliss.
